Constellation has a fleet of over 100 temperature-controlled vehicles that can help with all your temperature-controlled transport needs, from single-pallet to full truckload. 

We can also offer transport with specialised trailers if required, such as split trailers for multi-temperature, extra-long or short length trailers, or hanging meat transport.

Where we don’t operate our own transport fleet, we partner with industry-leading logistics partners to ensure that our storage facilities act as an efficient link in the supply chains of our customers. Constellation is the preferred partner for numerous trucking companies, ocean carriers, and third party logistics (3PL) providers.

Perishable food products stored in a temperature-controlled environment require temperature-controlled transport to maintain cold chain integrity and prevent them from spoiling while en route to their destination. 

We offer transport services throughout our network, with our own fleet in the UK, Norway, and Sweden, and through our preferred partner network of industry-leading logistics providers elsewhere. We provide a range of specialised transport services, including multi-temperature transport, hanging meat transport and comprehensive temperature-controlled transport for single-pallet to full truckload needs.

We have been taking several steps to reduce the emissions of our trucks for a number of years. These include operating a fuel-efficient modern fleet which is 100% Euro 6 compliant, using biodiesel for a significant proportion of our journeys, and trialling electric articulated trucks on some of our routes. We have also been addressing our trailer refrigeration unit emissions. This includes installing trailer plug-in points across our network, investing in hydraulic generators to eliminate emissions and particulates from the trailer refrigeration unit, and exploring zero emissions refrigeration systems. As part of Constellation’s Net Zero plan, we plan to continue to invest in a modern and zero-emissions fleet with minimal environmental impact.

We offer efficient container loading and unloading services, ensuring fast and high-quality interfaces for imports and exports. We also provide customs warehousing and assist with cross-docking/transloading of containers and trailers as needed.
