France /15 June 2026Constellation Cold Logistics announces proposed acquisition of Locagel and Transfreeze to strengthen its presence in FranceLondon, United Kingdom, 15 June 2026 – Constellation Cold Logistics (“Constellation”) today announced that it has signed an agreement, subject to customary closing conditions, to acquire Locagel and Transfreeze, two well-established French companies specialising in temperature-controlled storage and refrigerated transport, with a view to integrating them into the Constellation group on 1 July 2026. The completion of this transaction will mark a further milestone in Constellation’s development in France and reinforce its long-term ambition to strengthen its presence in this strategic market.Once completed, the transaction will enable Constellation to further expand its footprint in France while strengthening its European network through the addition of high-quality capacity and specialised value-added services.Located in northern France, with direct access to major motorway networks, the Locagel and Transfreeze facility occupies a strategic position for supporting both domestic and international supply chains. The site offers approximately 36,000 frozen pallet positions, together with blast-freezing, order picking and repacking services. These repacking capabilities will further enhance the range of services currently offered by Constellation in France.The site also provides distribution and transport services, enabling customers to benefit from a fully integrated end-to-end logistics solution. Designed to combine operational agility with efficiency, it will enable Constellation to support the growing requirements of retail, foodservice and food manufacturing customers with increased flexibility and added value.Founded in 1990, Locagel brings nearly four decades of industry expertise, operational excellence and specialist know-how.
