Abhy Maharaj is the CEO of Constellation Cold Logistics, leading a unified portfolio of world-class cold logistics businesses across Europe committed to innovation and exceptional customer service. A seasoned executive with a background in both commercial and finance, Abhy’s leadership is defined by a commitment to quality, innovation, and strategic growth. He joined Constellation in 2025, previously serving as Chief Growth & Transformation Officer.

Before this, he held board and executive roles at NewCold Coöperatief, a private equity-backed developer and operator of highly automated cold storage warehousing headquartered in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he spent 11 years in senior executive positions at Fonterra, the world’s largest dairy exporter, with sales in 130 countries. He was also part of the management team at Air New Zealand that reshaped the business from near bankruptcy to becoming one of the world’s most innovative and valuable commercial airlines.

Abhy grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Auckland, is a registered Chartered Accountant and has attended Executive Management programmes at Harvard Business School and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Formerly Managing Director Ireland for Americold, Thomas brings 25 years of industry experience. He has a strong track record in the Irish market and a deep practical knowledge of warehouse operations and the cold storage business. Starting his career as a general warehouse operative, Thomas went on to hold multiple management roles over the past 25 years.

Formerly Managing Director of DFDS Belgium, Geert is an industry veteran with over 25 years of logistics experience. Having worked his way up the DFDS organisation, in his prior role he successfully led a €100M turnover business with 140 employees.

Geert joined Constellation in 2023, taking over the day-to-day management of the Stockhabo business from Xavier Haspeslagh as he moved to the role of Chairman. He now holds responsibility for the Belgium, Netherlands & France cluster.

Formerly CEO at Agri-Norcold, Jan Nielsen joined the team as the Managing Director of Constellation Denmark when Constellation acquired Agri-Norcold in 2024.

Jan has been in the food industry for over 30 years, having worked at Danish Crown, Abba Seafood and Royal Greenland in various sales, management and corporate roles in the early stages of his career. In 2007, he joined Agri-Norcold (now Constellation Denmark) as COO, becoming in CEO in 2010. Under his leadership, Agri-Norcold was the market leader in cold storage solutions in Denmark, until its acquisition by Constellation in 2024.

Clémence Baudrand is Commercial Director of Constellation Cold Logistics, where she leads commercial strategy across business development, revenue management, marketing and communications. Since joining in 2024, she has strengthened commercial capabilities, deepened strategic customer partnerships and driven growth across Europe.

Clémence brings 16 years of international leadership across large corporates, venture building and high-growth technology businesses. She spent nearly a decade at Amazon, where she led commercial and operational teams, launched new ventures and scaled multimillion-euro businesses across Europe. She also worked with Rocket Internet, the Berlin-based technology incubator and venture builder, and later founded the UK operations of Bigblue, a French e-commerce logistics start-up.

A British-French national, Clémence has lived and worked in France, the UK, Germany and Spain, and has led teams and growth initiatives across Europe, North America and Asia. Her leadership combines analytical rigour with a strong customer focus, translating complex market opportunities into profitable growth.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Manchester and a Master’s in Management from Grenoble École de Management.

Mark leads Constellation’s technology strategy and transformation efforts.

Mark brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the technology sector, most recently serving as CIO at Vanguard Logistics Services. He has also held senior roles at Menzies Aviation and Menzies Distribution. Known for his strategic and operational leadership and expertise in large-scale business and IT change programmes.

As General Counsel, Xinyi oversees all legal matters. She has extensive experience in M&A and global partnerships as Head of Corporate Legal at Tate & Lyle PLC, as well as roles at Freshfields, Debevoise & Plimpton, and Slaughter and May.

Graeme leads the people strategy and organisational development agenda at Constellation Cold, with a focus on organisation design and shaping the workforce of the future.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience across people, change and business transformation, including senior roles at Deloitte and KPMG, following a 12-year career at Aviva. He has worked across complex, large-scale organisations to design and deliver change that improves how businesses operate and how people experience work.

As Chief People Officer, Graeme partners closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team to build leadership capability, simplify organisational design, and create a culture that enables performance and growth through the next phase of Constellation Cold’s development.

Graeme is particularly interested in how organisations evolve to stay competitive – how structure, leadership and culture need to shift together – and in building workplaces where people can do their best work in an increasingly fast-changing environment.

Jason leads the development and execution of M&A initiatives, leveraging his extensive experience in the cold chain industry.

He has 26 years of distinguished experience, including 16 years with PwC, where he spent 10 years in Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence), and over 10 years in the cold chain industry at AGRO Merchants Group / Americold. In his most recent roles Jason led all AGRO Merchants acquisitions from 2013 to 2019 before becoming European CFO at Americold. As CFO Europe, he developed expertise in financial strategy, accounting & reporting, business acquisitions, and performance management, making him an invaluable addition to our team.

Robbert joined Constellation in 2024, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in both engineering and supply chain. He began his career at DHL supply chain, before transitioning to the cold chain industry by joining AGRO Merchants Group in 2011, who were later acquired by Americold. At Americold he was the European Director of Supply Chain Solutions & Design Engineering, leading new greenfield projects and expansions across Europe.
