Our Leadership

As CEO, Carlos provides strategic leadership and oversees all aspects of the company.

Carlos brings 30 years of experience in the supply chain and temperature-controlled logistics sector. Prior to joining Constellation, Carlos served as Co-Founder and CEO of AGRO Merchants Group and Board member of the IARW. Previous positions also include global functional responsibility at Americold and Syncreon (automotive and high-tech logistics).

Carlos holds an MSc in Transport and Logistics from the School of Engineering & Technology Management, Liverpool JM University and served as Merchant Marine Officer and Navy Officer (Spanish Armed Forces).”

Formerly Managing Director of DFDS Belgium, Geert is an industry veteran with over 25 years of logistics experience. Having worked his way up the DFDS organisation, in his prior role he successfully led a €100M turnover business with 140 employees.

Geert joined Constellation in 2023, taking over the day-to-day management of the Stockhabo business from Xavier Haspeslagh as he moved to the role of Chairman. He now holds responsibility for the Belgium, Netherlands & France cluster.

Formerly Managing Director Ireland for Americold, Thomas brings 25 years of industry experience. He has a strong track record in the Irish market and a deep practical knowledge of warehouse operations and the cold storage business. Starting his career as a general warehouse operative, Thomas went on to hold multiple management roles over the past 25 years.

Formerly CEO at Agri-Norcold, Jan Nielsen joined the team as the Managing Director of Constellation Denmark when Constellation acquired Agri-Norcold in 2024.

Jan has been in the food industry for over 30 years, having worked at Danish Crown, Abba Seafood and Royal Greenland in various sales, management and corporate roles in the early stages of his career. In 2007, he joined Agri-Norcold (now Constellation Denmark) as COO, becoming in CEO in 2010. Under his leadership, Agri-Norcold was the market leader in cold storage solutions in Denmark, until its acquisition by Constellation in 2024.

As a strategic visionary driving business growth with a proven track record in commercial leadership, Abhy joined Constellation in 2025.

Before joining Constellation, Abhy held board and executive roles at NewCold Coöperatief, a private equity backed developer of highly automated cold storage warehousing headquartered in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he spent 11 years in senior positions at Fonterra, a listed co-operative and world’s largest dairy exporter, with sales in 130 countries. He was also part of the management team of Air New Zealand, helping navigate the business from near bankruptcy to one of the most innovative and valuable commercial airlines in the world.

Abhy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Auckland, is a registered Chartered Accountant and has attended Executive Management programmes at Harvard Business School and University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

As Group People Director Nikki leads the group people strategy, aligning our organisations, and driving a culture of high performance.

Nikki brings a wealth of experience from leading large people teams at Sysco International Foodservice, Brakes and Yell.com. Her passion is for building great places to work through a focus on employee engagement, career paths and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. Nikki is a qualified executive coach and has significant experience in talent and leadership development.

Rob brings a wealth of experience from the logistics, supply chain and professional services sectors; and a very strong addition to the Constellation leadership team.

Rob joins us from KPMG, where he spent the last three years as a Strategy & Performance Transformation Partner focused on the Transport & Logistics sector. Prior to this Rob served as both CEO and CFO of Xpediator Plc, a private equity owned European logistics and freight management company, and earlier as CFO of Europa Worldwide Group, a UK-based logistics business. Rob began his career at PwC, where he qualified as an ACA and spent over a decade in Transaction Services which included performing financial due diligence on a variety of businesses and industries.

As General Counsel, Xinyi oversees all legal matters. She has extensive experience in M&A and global partnerships as Head of Corporate Legal at Tate & Lyle PLC, as well as roles at Freshfields, Debevoise & Plimpton, and Slaughter and May.

Mark leads Constellation’s technology strategy and transformation efforts.

Mark brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the technology sector, most recently serving as CIO at Vanguard Logistics Services. He has also held senior roles at Menzies Aviation and Menzies Distribution. Known for his strategic and operational leadership and expertise in large-scale business and IT change programmes.

Jason leads the development and execution of M&A initiatives, leveraging his extensive experience in the cold chain industry.

He has 26 years of distinguished experience, including 16 years with PwC, where he spent 10 years in Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence), and over 10 years in the cold chain industry at AGRO Merchants Group / Americold. In his most recent roles Jason led all AGRO Merchants acquisitions from 2013 to 2019 before becoming European CFO at Americold. As CFO Europe, he developed expertise in financial strategy, accounting & reporting, business acquisitions, and performance management, making him an invaluable addition to our team.

Robbert joined Constellation in 2024, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in both engineering and supply chain. He began his career at DHL supply chain, before transitioning to the cold chain industry by joining AGRO Merchants Group in 2011, who were later acquired by Americold. At Americold he was the European Director of Supply Chain Solutions & Design Engineering, leading new greenfield projects and expansions across Europe.
