Constellation Cold Logistics and Lau van Haren unite through strategic acquisition to strengthen Dutch network 

London, UK – 7 November 2025 – Constellation Cold Logistics is pleased to announce that Lau van Haren Cold Stores B.V., a long-established and respected family-run cold-storage provider in the Netherlands, has joined the Constellation group.

Through this partnership, Constellation expands presence in the Dutch market and broadens the European network with new high-quality capacity and specialist value-added services.

Situated in the mid-east of the Netherlands, with excellent access to key motorway routes, Lau van Haren’s facility is ideally positioned to support both domestic and international customers. The site offers approximately 15,000 pallet positions of frozen capacity, along with blast-freezing and re-packing services, a new offering within Constellation’s Dutch network. In addition, the facility also offers transport distribution services, enabling a comprehensive end-to-end logistics solution. Designed for operational agility and efficiency, the facility enables Constellation to meet growing customer demand across retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing with greater flexibility and value.

With roots dating back to 1929 and now led by the fourth generation of the Van Haren family, the business brings nearly 100 years of knowledge, experience, and service excellence. Lau van Haren began as a transport business and has grown over generations into a leading cold-storage specialist. The family share Constellation’s values of service excellence, responsiveness, and deep product expertise. The team will remain in place, ensuring continuity for employees, customers, and partners as the business moves into the next chapter. 

This partnership further strengthens Constellation’s presence in the Netherlands, adding capacity and supporting evolving customer requirements.
