Constellation Cold Logistics, headquartered in London, is a private equity-backed, pan-European cold storage and temperature-controlled logistics group focused on building a connected European platform by combining strong local businesses with the resources and capabilities of a wider international group. In February 2026, Constellation acquired the long-established German logistics business Wohlert, marking its entry into the German market. The business subsequently rebranded as Constellation Cold Logistics in October 2026.

As the German business moves into its next phase of integration, we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen the local finance team. The role combines core local accounting responsibilities with ownership of defined Group reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analytical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank postings, reconciliations, payment runs and general ledger activities.
• Assist with payroll, including review of working-time information and preparation of accurate monthly inputs.
• Take ownership of intercompany accounting and reconciliations and resolve differences with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with fixed assets, tax and statutory accounting information and provide support for the annual financial statements.
• Own assigned elements of month-end close, including cut-off checks, accruals, reconciliations, account analysis and reporting schedules.
• Prepare and validate assigned monthly reporting schedules, forecasts and budgets.
• Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, investigate significant variances and explain key financial and operational drivers.
• Translate operational information into meaningful financial analysis for finance and management meetings.
• Help document and standardise finance processes, controls and account mappings, and support future finance-system changes.
• Provide timely responses and supporting evidence for Group Finance, auditors and integration workstreams.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a comparable field, or an equivalent German vocational or professional accounting qualification.
• Approximately three to five years of relevant experience in German financial accounting.
• Sound knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, accruals and month-end close; payroll exposure is advantageous.
• Experience in a multi-entity, logistics, transport or operational environment is advantageous.
• Confidence using ERP and accounting systems and Excel; Sage X3 experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a hands-on, organised approach.
• Ability to own defined deliverables while balancing routine accounting work, recurring deadlines and ad hoc Group requests.
• Fluent German and strong written and spoken business English.
